Our specialized focus lies in exploring medical and dental conditions influenced by genetic alterations. The dedicated team at CEGPD concentrates on conditions related to bone, connective tissues, craniofacial aspects, and the oral cavity. This encompasses a wide range of disorders, including skeletal dysplasias, skin disorders, craniosynostosis, cleft palate, tooth agenesis, supernumerary teeth, oral cancer, and periodontitis \u2014 all of which have a significant impact on physical health and overall quality of life.<\/p><p>At the forefront of innovation, our research team is dedicated to uncovering novel knowledge and disseminating cutting-edge research findings in genomics and healthcare. Leveraging state-of-the-art multiomics techniques\u2014genomics, metagenomics, proteomics, and transcriptomics\u2014alongside functional studies, bioinformatics, artificial intelligence, and animal models, we strive to unravel the molecular pathogenesis of diverse genetic disorders, contributing to a deeper understanding of the role of genes in humans.<\/p><p>Our ultimate mission is to advance Precision Medicine and Dentistry in managing genetic disorders, as well as addressing newly emerging and re-emerging diseases. We aim to ensure precise diagnosis, accurate prognosis, and prompt personalized medical care, enhancing the quality of life for our patients while minimizing the risk of disease
