elementor-heading-title\">Research Highlights<\/h3>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\t    <div class=\"heading-divider\"><\/div>\n\t    \n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"heading-description-wrap\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"heading-description\">\n\t\t\t\t<ul><li>Bioanalytical Methods: Paper is widely used as a bioanalytical substrate because it is inexpensive and promising for point-of-care testing in developing nations. In our group, paper is utilized in the detection of laboratory medicine, food, and environmental contaminants. Currently, the active project is paper-based devices for simultaneous red blood cell antigen testing. Other ongoing projects include the determination of NCDs biomarkers such as glucose, microalbuminuria, creatinine, and cholesterol efflux capacity.   <\/li><li>Sensors and Biosensors: We are currently developing new and innovative technologies for detecting and monitoring various biomarkers using nanomaterials and wireless sensing technologies, which has important implications for various fields including medicine, environmental monitoring, and agriculture. We are developing modified electrodes for electrochemical detection of various biomarkers, such as anti-cancer medications, pesticides, exosomes, and wound biomarkers, using various nanomaterials such as MXenes, MOFs, and CNTs. We are collaborating with a private company to carry out some of those projects, indicating a strong potential for practical and commercial applications of our research  <\/li><li>Engineered Tissues: In our research, we are actively involved in the development of biomimetic tissue constructs that closely emulate the architecture and functionality of natural organs. These sophisticated constructs function as advanced biological models, providing valuable insights into organ development, disease mechanisms, and potential therapeutic interventions. Our focus includes leveraging innovative biomaterials to promote functional regeneration, thereby opening new and promising therapeutic pathways for a diverse range of medical conditions.
