Exchange Faculty Travel Grant

Objectives

 this support covers international travel for collaborative research, lectures, and academic exchanges, promoting partnerships between Chulalongkorn University and the Top 100 Universities. Application period: Throughout the year.

Period

  • Application Period: 12 rounds/fiscal year (October 2025 - September 2026)
    *Submit the proposal at least 2 months prior to the travel date.

Eligibility

  • Must be a full-time faculty member of Chulalongkorn University (not over 60 years old)

  • Adjunct or visiting of any type are not eligible for this grant

  • Universities or institutions ranked in the Top 100 of the World University Rankings or by subject, relevant to the applicant’s field of study

  • Must not be on leave for further study, leave for training in Thailand or abroad, leave to work to enhance academic knowledge, or being asked to assist with government work or being borrowed to work at an agency outside of Chula

Support

  • 1-month grant = 300,000 THB
  • 3-month grant = 500,000 THB

Outputs

  • 1-month grant = 1 paper

  • 3-month grant = 2 papers

  • First Author or Corr. Author

  • With an international author (collaborator)

  • Q1 or higher

  • Excluding MDPI, Hindawi, and Frontiers

  • Full article

  • Except short communication and case reports

  • Submit after receiving grant approval only

  • This grant cannot be used to claim regular publication expenses from Office of Research Affairs or Publication Reward 20% up
