Objectives
To promote research collaboration between Chulalongkorn University faculty members and officially appointed Adjunct Professors. This program is expected to lead to advancements in the creation of new knowledge, the development of sustainable academic partnerships, and the publication of high-quality articles in international academic journals.
Period
Application Period: The host of the Adjunct Professor will be contacted directly by the Research Strategy Group. (Line @cu.research.s)
Project Duration: The project has an implementation period of 1 year, commencing after the official announcement is issued by Chulalongkorn University.
Eligibility
Personnel from the academic staff of Chulalongkorn University who serve as the Host faculty member inviting the Adjunct Professor
The Adjunct Professor must have been officially appointed for a period of no less than 3 months.
Budget
Maximum of 500,000 THB per project.
A faculty member can apply for only one grant per fiscal year.
Covers research-related expenses (Excluding salaries/stipends and capital expenditure/equipment).
Covers travel-related expenses (Accommodation, per diem, and travel costs according to Chulalongkorn University regulations).

Expected Outputs
Joint research must result in an academic article accepted for publication in a Q1 niche journal or higher within 1 year.
The article must name the Host and the Adjunct Professor as the First Author and Corresponding Author (or vice versa) only.
If the research involves international travel, the travel must be to the Adjunct Professor’s institution.
Travel substitutes are permitted (i.e., faculty members, researchers (AR), students, or Postdoctoral Researchers), but they must secure prior written approval.
The published work cannot be submitted for any subsequent re-publication awards (rewards/reimbursements).
The published work must only acknowledge this grant using the following text: “The Ratchadaphiseksomphot Endowment Fund, Chulalongkorn University (Collaborative Research Grant with Adjunct Professor; Grant No. … )”.
The resulting publication must NOT be part of a student’s thesis or dissertation.
