Center of Excellence in Interdisciplinary Research for Sustainable Development

The Center of Excellence in Interdisciplinary Research for Sustainable Development has been established with the aim of integrating various scientific disciplines with the arts and social sciences. This initiative is geared towards advancing research that aligns with the country's strategic objectives in water management and community development, with an emphasis on:

  1. Conduct research that addresses challenges and fortifies the resilience of communities economically, socially, and culturally, tailored to the community's needs and involving the community in the research process.
  2. Generate essential knowledge for public sector agencies to sustainably manage natural resources, crafted to meet the specific requirements of these agencies and incorporating their involvement in the research endeavors.
  3. Develop a new cadre of research professionals with the expertise and ability to collaborate with communities and government agencies, capable of producing work of international scholars. This will constitute a vital asset for the nation's development in the future.
