Center of Excellence in Particle and Material Processing Technology was found in 2002 to be a center to conduct research and development in particle technologies and material processing technologies, which are directly involved in many industries in Thailand, such as chemical industries, materials fabrication industries, food and pharmaceutical industries, as well as future technologies such as alternative energy sources, water and environmental relating technologies and nanotechnology. The center aims to provide technology and personnel corresponding to the needs from Thai industries.
