The Center of Excellence for Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Vaccines is a center focused on clinical research compliance with good clinical practice (ICH-GCP) for vaccines development and infectious diseases with public health impact e.g HIV, STIs, Respiratory infection e.g. tuberculosis, respiratory syncytial virus
The center is also focused on implementation research for antimicrobial stewardship for pediatric population. We collaborate with international research network e.g. Pediatric European Network - PENTA-ID, TREAT Asia AmFAR for HIV research and training.

- Develop vaccines to prevent infectious diseases in children, such as RSV vaccines or monoclonal antibodies, dengue vaccines, COVID19
- Create a clinical research network on HIV prevention among adolescents for ending AIDS.
- Conduct integrated research for the appropriate use of antibiotics and clinical trials on new antimicrobial drugs for children.
